*** View Only. Vehicle Not For Sale out of Collection! ***DeSoto
was a division of Chrysler and manufactured cars from 1928 to 1961.
Envisioned as a mid-priced alternative to the Chrysler, the DeSoto
original design premise focused on aerodynamics and value. Chrysler
soon acquired Dodge and Chrysler later rolled out the Imperial, and
so the brand had no unique position and was discontinued. The
DeSoto SG Airflow showcases those attributes with sweeping body
panels, fender skirts, the split front windshield and headlamps
integrated into the fenders, all fairly unique to the automobile
industry for the era. DeSoto only produced the SG Airflow from 1934
to 1936 and this 1935 DeSoto with an original base price of $1,015
is 1 of only 6,269 SG Airflow sedans produced that year.
