Vehicle Description
Mechanically sound, this beautiful suicide-door convertible
features a 430ci 8-cylinder engine with a 3-speed automatic
transmission. Driven from Florida to Arizona, the engine and
transmission on this 57-year-old car proved once again that the
Lincoln engineers knew how to design a reliable vehicle. The engine
runs smoothly and shows no vibration at idle. The transmission has
been worked on with new cooling tubes both inside and out.
Attention shown the driveline even went to replacing the needle
bearings in the yoke as well as new seals. Both the engine and
transmission have new mountings, seals and freeze plugs where
needed. A stainless steel exhaust system replaced the old one.
Completely new cooling system from radiator cap to hoses. It has
new starter, flywheel, coil and battery reflect the care gone into
the car. Paperwork is included documenting the mechanical work on
this vehicle.
