The Chevrolet Biscayne was a series of full-size cars produced by
the American manufacturer Chevrolet between 1958 and 1972. Named
after a show car displayed at the 1955 General Motors Motorama, the
Biscayne was the least expensive model in the Chevrolet full-size
car range (except the 1958-only Chevrolet Delray). The absence of
most exterior and fancy interior trimmings remained through the
life of the series, as the slightly costlier Chevrolet Bel Air
offered more interior and exterior features at a price
significantly lower than the mid-line Chevrolet Impala

for consideration. According to the owner, this vehicle has under
1,500 miles on it since the restoration, believed to be built on a
dry, rust-free 53,000 original mile Southern car. The modification
list includes; 496 Stroker motor, 781 heads, steel crank, Comp
hydraulic roller cam, Muncie 4 speed with Hurst line lock, Hurst
dual Gate Shifter, Edelbrock Polished single plane, Holley 3310
dual feed, ATI Harmonic Balancer, MSD Billet Ignition, 6AL Box,
Blaster Coil, Custom Ceramic Coated Hooker Headers with electric
cut-outs, 2.5 inch flow master exhaust, 4 link suspension with
coilovers, Ford 9 inch with mini tub, positraction 3:70 gears,
Double Core aluminum radiator, 20 gallon fuel cell, 10.5-15LT rear
Mickey Thompsons and much more. This vehicle was built to look as
stock as possible and be very driver friendly for cruising. The
clutch has no chatter, shifts very smoothly and is strong in every
gear. The paint has been wet sanded and presents extremely well
with only a few minor scratches. All of the trim is in great
condition and showing very clear, the vehicle was built right and
will definitely have a presence wherever you decide to bring it.
