Vehicle Description
There's only one kind of hauling this stunning 1968 Chevrolet C10
does these days, and it ain't about feed-n-seed. Nope, you know
exactly what this Pro Street machine and its enhanced 383ci stroker
V8 was built to haul. The full custom treatment takes this honest,
blue-collar pickup to an entirely new level, but it never betrays
its workman price.
There's no way anyone will mistake this Chevy pickup for a
contractor's ride. The huge cowl hood with securing pins, chopped
convertible-style hardtop, bumper delete, and slick bedcover
combine for one aggressive pickup. And then, of course, there's the
paint. The Charcoal Gray metallic is like the smoky finish created
by those massive flames that consume the side. Now lower the
suspension for a great aggressive profile, and add shiny Centerline
wheels - including back ones that reveal how massively tubbed the
rear end is. This one doesn't try to hide its nature or make any
apologies for being the instigator.
Use the driver's door popper to reveal a custom interior that was
given the full performance treatment. The black and red racing
seats with RJS harnesses feel as aggressive as the exterior flames.
This pickup gets down to business the moment you slip behind the
grippy VIP sports steering wheel. The first thing you notice (after
the bulldog on the dash) is the large gauge pacakge with AutoMeter
Pro Comp tachometer and shift light. Plus, with the bomber-style
switches, B&M shifter, and ignition control module at your
fingertips, your senses instantly know there's serious power under
the hood.
The black fender walls of the engine bay do a great job of
directing your attention to the V8. With Edelbrock valve covers,
pulleys, Edelbrock intake, and so much more polished to a
top-quality shine, this 383 cubic-inch stroker motor really knows
how to show off its performance hardware. Plus, if you look closer,
there are other go-fast upgrades like a Holley four-barrel
carburetor, steel braided hosed, MSD ignition, long-tube headers,
and an aluminum radiator to keep everything running cool. But to
fully appreciate everything that went into this build, you might
want to take a look at the undercarriage photos. There you'll see
how the massive pipes of the rumbling dual exhaust exiting out the
side. And the track bar rear end keeps those massive Hoosier
31x18.5 tires on the ground (it also helps that the fuel cell and
battery box are located in the rear.) GM's three-speed transmission
is stout enough to bang your own way through the gears, or you can
just enjoy easy automatic cruising. Plus, the power steering and
front disc brakes are features you can enjoy anytime.
So this custom pickup gets plenty of attention in all areas...body,
interior, engine, and everyone loves the awesome rumble every time
it fires up. Be the envy of every muscle car out there with an
affordable and stout muscle truck. Call today!!!
