Task Force....
That name says it all.... The late fifties trucks were deemed the
"TASK FORCE" These trucks were tough and durable and they could
complete the job they were designed to do. They were really the
first series of trucks that were "attractive " ....They were
designed to be muscular, stout, and powerful. The addition of a V8,
starting with the 1955, General Motors trucks became the work
horses of the fifties and models like the Cameo's added interest to
a brand new category of vehicle the "Gentleman's truck" you might
say it was the first Denali or LTZ.....
Today the Task Force trucks are in high demand for restorods and
original restorations .... This particular truck is equipped with a
350 /300 HP crate motor that has very low miles, and a Borg Warner
T-10 4 speed , combine all of that power steering and you have a
damned fine driver.....
