AC Cars Ltd, a British manufacturer, was contacted by Carroll
Shelby in 1961 to build a car modified to handle a V8 engine. The
updated version of the AC Ace platform arrived in Los Angeles, CA
on February 2, 1962 and a legend was born. Given the racing history
and limited production of the originals, several kit reproductions
have been produced over the years. This shining example comes via
Classic Roadsters, Ltd. in Fargo, ND. This awesome 1992 edition is
powered by a 289 cid V8 mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The
owner states 4194 actual miles with 500 since a recent engine and
clutch rebuild. Features include a Fast 2.0 Fuel Injection system
set up for optional NOS functionality. The Maroon PPG paint really
reflects well on the overall quality of this build. Additional
options added are an AM/FM CD stereo system, power brakes, tilt
steering wheel and clock. This beautiful 1992 Cobra replica is
located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this vehicle in
