Vehicle Description
This Callaway Corvette features a twin turbo 350ci engine and Turbo
400 automatic transmission with overdrive. It has a red exterior
and interior with matching red removable hardtop. Only 69,1989
Callaway Corvettes were produced. Of these, only 25 were
convertibles, and even fewer of these were equipped with the
modified TH400 automatic transmission. These cars were sent
directly from the factory to Callaway in most cases. Besides adding
the twin turbos, Callaway modified and beefed up the intervals of
the 350ci engine to produce 382hp and 562 ft/lbs of torque. Other
upgrades included the 17" Dymag magnesium wheels, exhaust, cooling
and handling as well as custom body panels. This example has 1,150
