Now is your chance to pick this beauty of a truck out of our
Houston showroom. This gorgeous 1966 Chevrolet El Camino is truly a
sweet ride. In 1966 the El Camino got a few style changes with
sheet metal work giving the pickup a very similar look to is cousin
the Chevelle and was also the first year GM offered the vehicle
with a Big Block! New sheet metal highlighted the 1966 El Camino,
identical to the Chevelle. Having undergone a recent fresh full
restoration less than 150 miles since full completion, this bad El
Camino is ready to roll. Shown in a very nice & brand new deep blue
Dupont paint job that is glossy and looks amazing in the sunshine.
The body is straight & true with even body line gaps and easy to
open & close doors. The exterior trim, emblems, glass, & bumpers
are dent free. The car sits on some 17-inch American racing wheels
that are wrapped in Nitto tires that have plenty of life left in
them. Powering this beauty down the road is a 327 CiD V8 that has
been bored over .30, has double hump cylinder heads, upgraded
intake & high flow carburetor. This engine is very healthy
throughout the power band & that is paired to a Turbo350 3-speed
automatic transmission that shifts smoothly through the gears
giving the car a nice smooth enjoyable ride. The engine has approx.
105 miles on it since it was rebuilt. Moving into the driver's seat
you see a very nice black interior with two Recaro racing seats
that recline. The dash was painted to match the car. The carpet,
door panels, & headliner are in great condition. A few extra gauges
under the dash for engine management & a nice kicking stereo behind
the seats keeps this cockpit up to par. Some of the other new items
on the car include; a new aluminum radiator with electric fans, all
new complete exhaust system, the suspension & brakes have been
rebuilt/reconditioned with disc brakes on the front, entire cab has
dynomat sound deadening under the carpet, a new stereo system, new
wheels & tires, new bed liner, new B&M shifter, new window
tint, new bumpers & badging, electric door locks, & much more! This
is a sweet ride that was built right. It drives better than it
looks!! Options on this car include; power brakes, power steering,
power locks, CD player with radio, & custom wheels. For more
