For sale in our Chicago showroom is this show-worthy 1962 Chevrolet
Impala. The Chevrolet Impala has always been a staple in American
automotive history, and this classic cruiser lives up to the hype!
With a strong 350 cubic inch small block Chevy V8 partnered up with
a smooth 3-speed automatic, this Impala is as reliable as it is
fun! Built to be a "Street/Strip" car, any extra weight savings
helps, as does any reduction in engine drag, so power steering is
not present, neither are power brakes. With roughly 50 pounds save
off the nose end of the Impala by not adding those items, this
full-size coupe feels as agile and nimble as a much smaller ride. A
fresh coat of Ruby Red enamel paint sparkles like the gem it's
named after. One would be hard pressed to believe that the paint is
really from 2008! The Impala has been in the family for roughly 13
years, and has been meticulously cared for during that time. Plenty
of care went into not only selecting just the right colors, engine
parts, and interior, but also in keeping the restoration looking
fresh for as long as possible. With mostly original metal (the
trunk pan needed to be replaced), the lines are as straight as GM
made them. Having been owned by a firefighter during the
restoration, there are a handful of fire suppressors keeping you
safe, in the event of the worst. Strap into these race-inspired
seats, buckle the 4-point harness, and have a great time! Options
include: Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires, and Racing
Wheels. For more information on this Ruby Beauty, contact our
