Vehicle Description
This 2011 Porsche 911 GT3 RS is one of 1600 3.8L cars produced and
has been driven just under 12k miles since new. The GT3 RS was
produced as a street-legal track car to satisfy homologation rules
for a variety of competition sanctioning bodies, and the 997
version was the last offered with a true 6-speed manual
transmission. The 997.2 GT3RS reaches 60 mph in 3.5 seconds, and
the quarter mile in 11.8 seconds at 120.7 mph, nearly tying the
2011 Nissan GT-R. Not impressed? Consider that the GT3 RS is merely
rear-drive, naturally aspirated, and has one of those supposedly
antiquated transmissions you have to shift yourself. It's engine
makes 450 horsepower at 7900 rpm; redline arrives 500 rpm after.
The front and rear tires are larger and 55 pounds of stuff
irrelevant to diving fast has been disposed of. Who needs door
handles? This GT3RS also has some custom option including Ceramic
Brakes, Custom Titanium Exhaust System, Competition 4.0 Clutch and
Linkage plus Brand New Custom Decals in the box for your personal
detailing!
