time happened starting a battle of wills that would forever go down
in history as the greatest grudge match of all time.
Henry Ford II against Enzo Ferrari..... Henry kicked Enzo from his
perch high above all of the other automakers with four consecutive
wins at LeMans and two first second and third place sweeps.... The
GT 40 was an incredible collaboration of some of the most iconic
names in racing.Carroll Shelby,Bruce Mclaren ,Dan Gurney, A.J.Foyt
,John Wyer, Chris Amon....What a team!!! There can be no question
that this team backed with 100% of Fords resources would be wildly
successful against all comers at the 24 hours of Le Mans...
The license to produce these cars lies solely in the hands of
Superformance of South Africa . they are faithful productions based
on the original design from 1966...... This car is chassis # 2223
and has only 1800 + miles
