Completely authentic example of the popular MGA roadster, with only 82K documented miles! Life-long California car that has been very well maintained and went through a major restoration there some years ago. The entire car was stripped to bare metal, properly prepared are refinished in traditional British Racing Green. The chassis, brakes, engine and suspension all received attention and the car was carefully reassembled with many NOS parts. New carpets and leather upholstery completed the job, along with new weather equipment. It is accompanied with a British Motor Heritage Certificate for authenticity and its original owner’s handbook.
The car has been kept in collections since and accumulated only a few hundred miles after the rebuild. It has received a complete $1200 carburetor overhaul with new shafts, butterflies, Grose jets, etc. It has the spin-on oil filter update and recent Vredestien tires in the correct vintage size. It has upgraded 60-spoke wire wheels, instead of the standard 48. The side curtains are in nice shape and protected in padded pouches that match the top. It has been fitted with seat belts and a battery maintainer as well. We also have the correct wheel hammer and original jack as well.
This is a great-running, smooth-driving icon of British sports car ambiance and an inexpensive way to broaden your collection’s presentation. And, it’s a hoot to drive!
