ORIGINAL MATCHING NUMBERS, READY FOR DAILY DRIVING! This
is a great running and driving truck. Take a look at the video,
pictures, and details below:
Cosmetic
- Paint/Body: Paint is older driver quality and
looks good from 15ft away. Paint is consistent from bumper to
bumper. Overall straight body with a few spots of filler here and
there. There are a couple spots of rust and a few bubbles, but the
truck is all steel and solid overall, not a rust or bondo
bucket.
- Interior: Original dash with gauges that are
not hooked up. Gauge cluster is missing the glass. Seat cover is
vinyl and in good condition with no rips or tears.
- Glass/Windows: All glass is in good condition
and windows roll up and down easily.
- Trunk: Bed is in good shape with no major
dents or scratches and no major rust. Diamond plate steel in the
bed floor.
- Undercarriage: Solid and rust free frame
rails. A few typical rust in the floor pan and the cab corners are
rusted on the interior.
- Wheels/Tires: Good tread on older tires.
Mechanical
- Drivetrain: Original 226 Flathead 6 starts
easily and runs great. Engine has had an extensive tune up and
newly built carburetor. The clutch feels good and the transmission
shifts through all of the gears smoothly. This truck drives
straight down the road with minimal play in the steering.
- Lights/Electrical: All of the lights work
properly. Original vacuum windshield wipers still work, too.
- Brakes: Brakes stop good, a little pulling to
the left at first but they adjust out and stop straight.
This would make a great farm truck, shop truck, or just a fun
classic to own and project on a little here and there to bring it
up to the next level. Watch the video then call Erick at
