This is a rare 1992 Mustang LX convertible. It is identical to the failed 7 up special edition ones made in 1990 for a 7 up contest which never took place. Ford had built several and decided to market them. They were all LX covertible's painted emerald green with white leather interiors special to match to 7 up colors.
This is one of only 518 built in 92 with the emerald green / white interior combination. It was purchased new by the first owner who made it one of a kind. He put in a 306 CID Pro Bullet DSS w/main support system Vortech S-Trim (121 boost @6000 RPM) supercharger, Vortech 8 Rib Renegade Belt & pulley system. 8.5:1 compression with TFS Aluminum heads. GT40 Intake, E303 cam1.7 roller rockers, 65mm throttle body, 38lb injectors T-Rex external fuel pump with adjustable fuel pressure regularator, Mac equal length shorty headers & off road exhaust, crane HI6, anderson power pipe & 80 mm proM massair meter. Since I didn't build this engine and know litte about the internal makeup much of this is greek to me. This engine is a major power house. Can be driven on the street with no trouble.
This vehicle was very well thought out since the fellow who did all the work is a professional engine builder. The car has many many more added features which would take a couple more pages to type. In the pictures is a list of other things incorporated in this vehicle such as 4 wheel disc brakes with integrated ABS, G load brace & sub frame connectors. Top is power in excellent condition and white matching roll bar behind driver/passenher seats, everything works like new. He spared no expense in building this one of a kind Mustang. This car is 100% original other than the added build componets. Paint, interior and top all original.
I have several Mustangs of different generations but this is by far the badest. I'm up in age now and find it hard to drive many of them and need to reduce the collection this being the second one. It is for a much younger person as I once was.
I purchased the car about a year ago have only driven it less than 300 miles. The car has never been in the snow or rain garage cover kept since it's birth. The orginal owner took it to the track twice to test his skills turning in a very impressive score. For anyone who wants to feel the power this is your machine. I will entertain offers but don't have to sell. On another listing I also have a 2015 Special edition Mustang coupe #1577 of the 1964 made to commemorate 50 years of Mustangs.
