1970 CHEVELLE'S ARE SOARING IN PRICE AND THIS ONE IS PRICED TO GO! THIS ONE IS EXTREMELY CLEAN, SOLID, AND NEVER ABUSED. THIS ONE IS MOST DEFINITELY AN INVESTMENT GRADE CAR!
THIS IS AN ORIGINAL 74K MILE KANSAS CITY BUILT CAR WHICH SPENT ITS LIFE IN OKLAHOMA UNTIL THE LATE 90'S AND HAS BEEN EXTREMELY PAMPERED ITS WHOLE LIFE.
WHILE CLEANING THE CAR, WE REMOVED THE REAR SEAT WITH HOPES IN FINDING THE BUILD SHEET. AMAZINGLY, AFTER 47 YEARS, UPON REMOVING THE ORIGINAL REAR SEAT, WE DISCOVERED THE CAR'S BUILD SHEET, HOG RINGED IN PLACE TO THE UPPER PART OF THE SEAT. THIS IS ALSO KNOWN TO BE THE CORRECT LOCATION FOR THE BUILD SHEET OF KANSAS CITY BUILT CARS. THE BUILD SHEET WAS PHOTOGRAPHED IN PLACE PRIOR TO REMOVAL AND SHOWN IN OUR PHOTOS. THE ORIGINAL BUILD SHEET IS INCLUDED WITH THE SALE OF THE CAR.
AS DECODED BY THE BUILD SHEET, VIN, AND COWL THIS CAR WAS BUILT AT THE KANSAS CITY PLANT IN THE FIRST WEEK OF JANUARY WITH THE 756 BLACK BUCKET SEAT INTERIOR AND ORIGINALLY CODE 25 (ASTRO BLUE / MEDIUM BLUE PAINT). CURRENTLY REPAINTED TO CODE 75 (CRANBERRY RED). PAINT IS APPROXIMATELY 5 YEARS OLD AND SHOWS BEAUTIFULLY WITH ONLY MINOR STONE CHIPS.
BEAUTIFUL CRANBERRY RED PAINT WITH BLACK STRIPES ON AN EXTREMELY CLEAN AND STRAIGHT BODY WITH A GORGEOUS UNDERCARRIAGE! ORIGINAL FLOORS, QUARTERS, TRUNK PAN AND PANELS THROUGHOUT WHICH ARE IN AMAZINGLY CLEAN CONDITION! THE TRUNK ACTUALLY APPEARS TO HAVE ITS ORIGINAL PAINT INSIDE THE QUARTERS AND WHEEL HOUSINGS! TRUNK SHOWS BEAUTIFULLY! YOU DON'T FIND THESE CARS WITH METAL THIS NICE VERY OFTEN!
VERY CLEAN AND NICELY DETAILED ENGINE BAY!
NON ORIGINAL BUT PERIOD CORRECT BIG BLOCK 390 HP LS-5 454 ENGINE BEARING CASTING #3963512. IT IS APPARENT THAT WHEN THIS ENGINE WAS PUT IN THE CAR, SOMEONE STAMPED THE VEHICLE'S CORRECT VIN NUMBER IN THE BLOCK. JUST TO BE CLEAR, WE ARE CERTAIN THE BLOCK IS NOT ORIGINAL TO THE CAR. ACCORDING TO THE BUILD SHEET, THIS CAR WAS ORIGINALLY EQUIPPED WITH A "TW" CODE 396 L-34 350 HORSEPOWER ENGINE, WHICH WAS ONLY AVAILABLE IN SUPER SPORT MODELS.
4 SPEED MUNCIE MANUAL TRANSMISSION. THE TRANSMISSION IS NOT MATCHING NUMBERS.
AFTERMARKET HOTCHKINS UPPER AND LOWER REAR TRAILING ARMS.
12 BOLT OPEN REAR WITH 3:31 GEARS. "CCW" STAMPED IN HOUSING (3:31 GEARS) ALONG WITH DATE CODE 1219B1 (DECEMBER 19TH). THIS IS CODE CORRECT ON THE BUILD SHEET AND ONLY AVAILABLE ON SS MODELS.

BEAUTIFUL SS DASH WITH FACTORY 7,000 RPM TACH AND A VERY CLEAN INTERIOR; INCLUDING THE SEAT UPHOLSTERY, DOOR PANELS, HEADLINER, DASH PAD, CARPET...ETC. OPERATING LIGHTS, HI-LOW BEAMS, GAUGES, BLINKERS, HORN, AFTERMARKET RADIO, HEATER, ETC... FRONT SEATS HAVE BEEN REUPHOLSTERED. REAR SEAT AND DOOR PANELS ARE ORIGINAL. SEAT BELTS AND SHOULDER BELTS ARE IN GREAT SHAPE AS WELL. CLOCK AND 7,000 RPM TACH DO NOT WORK.

Please remember our cars are classics and most of our inventory is over 40 years old. They're built to drive and do develop drips from long periods of sitting due to expanding and contracting seals and gaskets. It's seldom that we come across a classic that's completely drip free. We do our best to describe our inventory in full detail, to include pictures and video; however, due to the age of these cars, we're unable to offer a warranty. While we only deal in vehicles that are in quality condition, we always prefer the buyer take the time to check the vehicle out in person or arrange for a third party vehicle inspection. We strive to make our customers happy and pride ourselves on positive feedback.
