Vehicle Description
This beautifully restored Ford Galaxie convertible is a mild custom
that has been nosed and decked. The professional body work was
followed by a dark Black Cherry Pearl base coat/clear coat polished
to a high luster. New Monroe shocks have been installed, along with
a new 4-wheel disc brake setup that includes drilled and slotted
rotors with all-new brake lines. Adding a nice rumble is the new
aluminized dual-exhaust system. The 352ci engine was rebuilt and
runs very well. Enhanced with a dress-up kit to add a little
sparkle, the engine was also treated to an original Ford
three-carburetor setup from the '60s. Stainless-steel nuts and
bolts have been used extensively throughout this build. A new
three-core aluminum radiator ensures this engine runs cool. Other
features include a new gas tank with a new gas line and fittings.
Both the frame and floor were sand-blasted to bare metal and
painted with rust-inhibitor paint. The floor was insulated to keep
noise and heat to a minimum. The seats were taken down to bare
metal, painted, and new foam and padding was installed with a new
interior kit from LeBaron Bonney. A new convertible top, pads and
rear window were installed, along with a new top well, new boot,
new top motor, rams and lines. A new tinted windshield and side
glass was installed. The stainless parts have been polished, and
the bumpers and chrome parts rechromed. Completing the custom look
are a new tube grille and Boyd Coddington Crown Jewel mag wheels
with new tires. This car looks and drives great. **TITLE IN
