For Sale at Auction: 1957 Chrysler New Yorker in Las Vegas, Nevada

Vehicle Description

The 1957 New Yorker was the first year for Chrysler cars redesigned with Virgil Exner's forward look. This stylish car sports fins that sweep up from behind the front doors. This very rare original New Yorker was first purchased by a judge in Pennsylvania and kept until 1960. After 1960, it was garage-kept for 30 years until it was rescued and returned to road worthiness, showing 6,200 miles on the odometer at that time. The Chrysler now has 48,511 original miles (mileage not indicated on title) and was given one repaint in its original Sunset Rose factory color. It comes with copies of original titles, old photos, its original Pennsylvania historic-car plate, and a three-page letter documenting the history of the car from its purchase and subsequent sale to the second owner who owned it until 2008. The 392ci HEMI runs exceptionally smooth and quiet. The TorqueFlite transmission, brakes, shock absorbers, power brake booster, fuel tank, radiator and heater core were all recently rebuilt; all receipts are included. The original-style tires have 250 miles on them. This New Yorker is in excellent working condition, with all the lights and wipers working as they should.
