Vehicle Description
Excaliburs were hand crafted from scratch to the highest standards
with best quality materials. They are not just, they are not a
conversion of an existing car. Excalibur built their own chassis,
or should I say overbuilt. The frame is boxed, has ladder support
and a heavy x member. The handlaid fiberglass body was twice as
thick as a Corvette. The metal trim including the grill is
stainless steel. The driveline is GM so its easily maintained. A
big 454 was stuffed in there with turbo 400 trans attached. The
exhaust tubes through the hood are actually functional. The entire
exhaust is stainless steel. It has 6 real wire wheels and 4 wheel
disc. The earlier Excaliburs like this one were fun and sporty- big
engine, open wheel wells, side curtains for windows. Later models
focused on luxury. The interior has a dash that looks like an
airplane cockpit with abundent gauges and switches. Has leather
upholstery and a fat leather wheel. It has luxuries like air
conditioning, cruise control and airhorns. Top lifts off for a real
open air thrill ride. This one is in original, maintained condition
with only 35,000 actual miles. These cars were limited production
and continue to go up in value!
