This 2003 Ford Thunderbird is for sale in our Louisville KY
showroom. The Thunderbird was released in 1955 as Ford's "personal
car". It was not a direct competitor to the Corvette but with their
similarity's it was very hard not to compare the 2. However, in
1958 Ford out the emphasis on PERSONAL growing the 2-seater into a
full bodied 5 passenger car taking away any further comparison to
the Corvette. 2001 would change all of that again with the release
of the new, totally redesigned T-Bird and boy did they really hit
the mark with this one. The styling was taken directly from the
original Baby-Bird design and many say was the first car to have
the Retro Styling. This example is a 2003 model which looks wise is
pretty much identical to the 2001. The biggest news for 03 was the
power output which had given a 15% boost from the prior year. This
one owner example is everything that you would hope to find on an
under 8000-mile car. The paint is in excellent condition with no
rock chips, dents, or even swirl marks it is a true beauty that is
sure to catch anyone's attention. Under the hood is the ALL
original all aluminum 32 valve DOHC engine which produces 280HP
while still being able to achieve 24 MPG on the highway. Matched up
to a 5-speed automatic gearbox that has the capability to become a
"manual" at the hit of the selector this bird is an absolute blast
to drive. The black leather wrapped interior is in excellent
condition not to mention unbelievably comfortable. With the
popularity of all these retro design cars going through the roof
and the low mileage examples getting even harder to find this Bird
will fly away quick. Options on this 2003 Ford Thunderbird include;
AM/FM/CD, AC, Seat Belts, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power
Windows, Leather Interior, Power Top, and Aluminum Wheels wrapped
in Radial Tires. This 2003 Ford Thunderbird convertible can be
