Vehicle Description
This 1961 Thunderbird has been the subject of a recent (within the
last four years) restoration by a previous owner. The body was
repainted in its original Teal Metallic, the bumpers were
rechromed, and the stainless steel trim was buffed and polished.
The interior was given new carpets, the white vinyl seats were
redone in leather, all of the gauges (except the clock) work, and
the rubber trim has been replaced on the doors, windows, and trunk.
Mechanically, the drivetrain has been rebuilt and the 390/300 V-8
performs well. The car was originally equipped with power steering,
power brakes, power windows, power driver seat, a swing-away
steering wheel, and factory air conditioning, all of which are
operational. Overall, this is an excellent car for cruising,
showing, or both.
