1970 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Coupe. I bought this car for my wife as a birthday present. We also have an MG and have only space for one car. The MG has slightly more sentimental value. The Karmann Ghia drives beautifully and has a completely rebuilt engine. Body work is average and it has a few scrapes and does have rusty sills but is generally solid. The rear engine cover has a slightly different shade of red than the rest of the car. We have added less than 500 miles in the past 20 years since we have owned it. The clock reads 11,000 miles but does not function. The car has new tires, a new exhaust system and new inside door panels. Everything else is original with usual wear and tear. The seats should be recovered. If I was keeping the car I would also replace the sills, the interior dash board, the rubber seals and the seat belts and I would repaint the car. All rubber seals have been purchased but only the driver’s side door seals have been installed.
