Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a beautiful 1941 Willys Coupe. This bad to the bone Willys has been beautifully built with high quality components. It is a Dennis Taylor body which has a slick coat of Ruby Red Pearl. The paint is rich and deep and looks great in the sunlight. No flames or scallops on this beauty, just a single shade with a tasteful pinstripe. The body sits on a custom frame with a Mustang II style front suspension with air ride, and a 4 link rear suspension. It has disc brakes in all four corners to bring the machine to a stop. The brakes are hidden behind a sweet set of billet wheels with a deep dish in the rear. Pop the hood and you'll see the real jewelry. Under the hood is a fully dressed 355 TPI V8 with all the goodies. This TPI wears a tunnel ram intake, aluminum heads, headers, and a billet drive system. The under hood compartment is very presentable and ready for a car show. Behind the small block is a 700R4 Automatic Transmission with overdrive. The rear end is a Ford 9" with 3.10 gear ratio. Without a doubt this one has some of the best components for a build like this. The interior features beautiful tan upholstery with bucket seats, custom door panels, and a custom dash. The Willys has a modern stereo so you can jam some tunes while you're cruising. She also comes equipped with Air Conditioning to keep you cool during the warm summertime cruises. If you're looking for a car show cruiser that is sure to turn heads, what beats a Willys Coupe? This 1941 Willys can be seen in our St. Louis showroom or at www.GatewayClassicCars.com.
