Vehicle Description
1982 was the last year of the popular C3 "stingray" generation of
Corvettes. Development was close to unveiling the C4, but then
Chevy had to wait till the 1984 model year to roll it out. Some
technology was already spilling out into these last C3's. 1982 saw
the debut of the "Cross-Fire Injection" fuel delivery system. This
TBI (Throttle Body Fuel Injection) was not the type of fuel
injection installed previously in some C1 and C2 Corvettes. It
utilized two throttle bodies combined with Chevrolet's computer
control system. The transmission was reworked for better
acceleration and lower RPM's for cruising in the top gear. The last
of the stingrays were the most technologically advanced.
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1982 Chevrolet Corvette
for consideration. This car looks like new featuring only 29,227
original miles. The current owner of this Corvette purchased it in
May of 1994 from the one previous owner. The vehicle looks
phenomenal in the silver exterior paint and pairs great with the
dark blue cloth interior. The power plant in this Vette is the
always reliable 350 cubic inch V8, and is paired with a 4 Speed
Automatic transmission. Our test drive showed that this vehicle is
not only great running, but shifts smoothly, brakes well, and
handles great. Please call or email us for more information on this
1982 Chevrolet Corvette.
