Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this 1966 Ford Mustang.
This first-generation Mustang debuted with moderate trim changes
including a new grille, side ornamentation, wheel covers and gas
cap. This 1 OWNER car was originally $3,339.72 dollars and today
you could own the appreciating asset to add to your collection.
This 66 needs no introduction and is the most popular and
well-known muscle cars of the era. Seen here in triple black paint
that looks great as it is a very fresh paint job that was completed
less than a month ago. The fit & finish on the car is done very
well; the body trim, emblems, bumpers, & window trim are all in
pristine condition. This car is a ONE OWNER car within the same
family since it was purchased new in 1966. They have enjoyed the
car for many many years and have expressed that they will be sad to
see it go. The car shows very well and looks great against its aqua
colored interior. The interior is in great condition showing the
aqua vinyl seats & door panels that are free from any tears. The
carpet & custom dash is also in great condition. In the dash, you
will find custom gauges alongside is a CD player with AM/FM radio.
Powering this black Stang is a 289 CID V8 that was rebuilt about
5000 miles ago with plenty of goodies on the inside. Starting with
blueprinting & balanced to Ford factory specifications. It has
12.5:1 TRW piston & rings, deck heights were increased for
compression, a high lift Crain camshaft, larger 202 valves, Accel
ignition components, hooker long tube headers, an Edelbrock intake
manifold, along with a 650 cfm Holley carburetor that was built by
Houston Engine & Balancing that pushed this car into an estimated
450HP. The 289 CID V8 is paired to a 4-speed Super T-1O manual
transmission that has a bullet proof bell housing, street-strip
pressure plate & clutch, drive shaft cage, & traction bars for
safety. The 4-speed Super T-10 manual transmission was completely
rebuilt less than 6 month ago. All new seals/ gaskets, bearings,
and a new Hurst shifter, which makes for super smooth shifting. The
trans leads into a custom 9-inch rear end containing 4:56 gears
with a Detroit locker setup. **We have original 1966 documentation
for the car, family photos with the car from the late 60's, &
