an excellent frame-off restoration with show worthy results by
previous owner of 37 years!� Retaining all factory smog equipment,
number's matching engine, inspection markings, and fitted with
several favored factory options that include vinyl roof, power
steering, deluxe interior with console gauges, and more!� A superb
investment! This is a number's matching 1969 Camaro Z28 Sport
Coupe. It was built new in Norwood, OH the 4th week of March 1969
with a proper X77 trim tag. Finished in code correct Burnished
Brown (61) with white stripes and standard Ivory/Black vinyl
interior (727) and White Vinyl roof. Under the hood resides the
original DZ-code 302ci V8 proving 290 factory rated horsepower.
Options include Muncie wide-ratio 4-speed transmission with center
console, front & rear spoilers, 15x7" rally wheels wrapped in
Firestone Wide Oval Super Sport F70-15 white letter tires, cowl
induction hood, original 12-bolt Posi-traction rear axle with
factory 3.31 Posi-Traction gear ratio, Full Instrumentation with
dash tachometer and console gauges, with large rear bumper guards,
power front disc brakes, day/night rearview mirror, dual outside
mirrors, deluxe seatbelts with retractors, all Soft-Ray window
glass, Z21 style trim group; roof rail drip molding, black body
sills, simulated rear quarter louvers, headlight/taillight accents,
and wheel well lip moldings. It maintains the correct special
suspension with staggered rear shocks and 4-leaf rear springs along
with front sway bar, heavy duty 21" radiator & 6-blade clutch fan,
deep grove pulleys, Winters aluminum intake & finned valve covers,
Holley carburetor, "double hump" solid lifter heads, and power
steering. Today, the odometer states just 71,271 miles that are
believed to be actual. It will come complete with owner's manual &
sleeve, service manual, assembly & restoration manual. The car has
been through one major show worthy restoration that included an
complete drivetrain rebuild, new exterior paint, new chrome bumpers
& guards, all weather stripping, all new suspension components
front to back, complete fuel delivery system, fresh brake
components, new interior carpet & underlayment, seating upholstery,
door panels, trunk mat, and so much more! It was upgraded to HEI
ignition with billet distributor, but retains correct GM hoses/
tower clamps, smog equipment, inspection stamps & markings, proper
chambered exhaust, even the BF Goodrich Space Saver spare tire. We
