Vehicle Description
The Gallardo was manufactured from 2003 to 2013 and is their
best-selling model with 14,022 being built throughout its lifetime.
The first generation Gallardo came with a 4961cc, V10 engine and
offered two choices of transmission, a conventional six-speed
manual transmission and an advanced six-speed electro-hydraulically
controlled, semi-automatic which Lamborghini abbreviates to
'E-gear'. This allows the driver to make gear changes much faster
than they could with a manual gearbox. The driver shifts up and
down via paddles behind the steering wheel but can also change to
an automatic model. The spyder model of the Gallardo was unveiled
at the Los Angeles Motor Show in January 2006, the soft-top being
fully retractable. The full-time all-wheel drive Gallardo LP560-4
coup and spyder is powered by a 552hp direct-injected 5.2-litre,
V10 controlled by a standard six-speed manual transmission or an
optional sequential six-speed 'E-gear' transmission. This striking
lefthand drive example, presented in Arancio Borealis Orange with a
matching orange and black interior, black soft-top, boasts a full
service history and only 34,000km from new. As it is a 2008 model,
it has an E-gear transmission update and also benefits from a
9,000 kevlar clutch which is a much improved upgrade and has
completed less than 300 miles since fitting. Described as being in
very good condition throughout, the car is supplied with a UK MoT
test certificate and UK registration has been applied for and
should be completed by the auction. Finished in a stunning colour
scheme, this desirable Gallardo has the pedigree and styling to
ensure spirited driving and strong interest for years to come.
