Vehicle Description
The Corniche was Rolls-Royce's coup and convertible version of the
Silver Shadow produced between 1971 and 1996. It was named Silver
Shadow Mulliner Park Ward Two-Door Fixedhead Coup', before 1971
after which the more elegant name of Corniche' was applied. The
model was assembled and finished in London at Mulliner Park Ward as
a continuation of the 1965 Silver Shadow coup and was also sold as
a Bentley although that model became known as the Continental in
1984. The first car to wear the Corniche name was a 1939 prototype
based on the Bentley Mk. V which was never produced due to the
onset of World War I. Finished in silver mink with contrasting St.
James leather, this low mileage Rolls-Royce is in excellent
condition. A dark blue Everflex roof complements the delightful
colour combination. The modest mileage of 37,035 is believed to be
genuine although not warranted, PYK 174R has all the appearance of
a very well cared for example. Benefitting from a Harvey Bailey
handling kit, we are advised this Rolls-Royce drives beautifully
and with no known faults. With classic lines a Corniche strikes a
perfect balance between saloon comfort and sporty aesthetics.
Supplied with a V5C registration document and a current MoT test
certificate valid until 20th April 2018 together with some
invoices; this luxurious British motor car was previously owned by
the manager of The Three Degrees so any prospective purchaser can
'Take Good Care of Yourself' driving such a splendid Rolls-Royce.
