40th Anniversary is actually still a "Brand New" car. No, really.
It has 40 actual miles and 1 owner.... Now let's take a look at
this triple Ruby Red beauty. All 40th anniversary models were Ruby
Red with Ruby Red interior and the convertibles like this one had
Ruby Red tops as well. From what we can tell this is one of 2100
convertibles built. This car in particular is still in the pre
delivery condition. The car was never prepped for the floor. The
cardboard still covers the floors like it did from the factory. The
front lower valance wasn't even installed and is still in the back
of the car. It is a truly incredible car and the perfect car for a
collector or someone that loves C4 Corvettes and wants a brand new
car. So along with the car there is all of the original paperwork,
including the order documents. There is even more to this story,
remember at the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green Kentucky had a
huge sink hole that swallowed up a bunch of Corvettes? No this
wasn't one of them, but it did replace one of them for a few years.
This car has been at the Corvette Museum for a few years and there
