Vehicle Description
This 2011 Porsche 911 GT3 RS, nicknamed 'The Colonel', was sold new
on 10/12/2010 by Park place Porsche of Dallas, TX. On November 2010
it was sent to Road Sport Supply, better known as RSS, of Costa
Mesa, CA who were enlisted to build the car specifically for the
NASA TTS class.
Some highlights of this no expense spared build - RSS installed all
of their proprietary suspension and chassis equipment including
full roll cage, dog bones, control arms, toe links & toe steer kit.
Dampers are triple adjustable KW Club Sports. Sway bars are GMG
WC-GT 4 & 5-way adjustable The gearbox has been upgraded with a
Cartronic sequential shifter w/ mechanical blipper. Upgraded 4th,
5th & 6th gear & LSD were installed. All coolant fittings have been
welded. The exhaust is a Shark Werks race system from the headers
back.
The car was serviced primarily by Porsche using intervals for race
track use. All fluids were flushed regularly. Patrick Motorsports
provided the track support labor for the second owner at the cars
last outing on 3/26/15 @ 3782 miles.
Comes with a complete service binder with receipts, 2 keys, clean
Carfax report and car cover. There are a few boxes of original
parts included - some interior trim, suspension parts, etc.
