Vehicle Description
7,190 actual original documented miles! Driven only 900 miles by
the original owner. He passed away and the wife parked it until
1991. Lance Chron from Amsterdam NY bought the car. He had it
professionally painted because of garage scrapes and scuffs. He
went on to drive and show the car winning a trophy almost every
time. He saved the inspection stickers verifying miles. 1,389 in
'91, 3,205 in '92, 4,881 in '93. Sold to a big collector in
Virginia in 1999 with 6,884 "actual" miles on title. We acquired
the car in 2003 and sold it to a very prestigious collector that
takes extraordinary care of his cars with 7,100 miles. We just
reaquired the car from him. Also the 2nd owner wrote the mileage on
the sign each time he took it to a show, we have those as well.
The body and floors are mint. Original chrome, trim and glass are
mint. The original interior is very impressive, considering it's
age I would say it's outstanding. The dash area is immaculate, the
knobs, gauges, steering wheel etc are like new. The clock still
ticks! Motor compartment looks like it did when it was new on the
showroom floor. Trunk compartment looks new. The cardboard panels
and rubber mat still look new. The jack and spare have never been
used, the tire still has nubs on the tread! This car runs, drives,
functions and feels like a low mile car. That can't be duplicated.
This is a rare find, maybe the lowest mile 1950 Ford in the
country!
