Our Louisville Showroom is proud to present this classic 1964
Chevrolet Impala SS. This American, steel machine is powered by the
original 283-cubic inch small block Chevy V8 engine. With a dual
exhaust that will take you back in time, you rumble down the road
with a rhythmic rap and burble. Backing the epic bowtie engine is
the classic Power Glide 2-speed automatic transmission. 1964 was
the first year for the third-generation Impala. The car is solid
and is in excellent quality condition. The Desert Beige exterior
color is the original color of the car and is a rare color option
for the 1964 Impala SS. The paint scheme is complimented by a set
of American Racing Polished Torque Thrust aluminum wheels wrapped
in radial tires. Talk about color combinations, the Fawn interior
matches the Desert Beige for a gorgeous killer combination. The
sport buckets up front beg to be sat in and hug the center console
with the factory shifter nicely. The tilt steering wheel has been
added by the current for a nice custom touch. The owner also added
a factory tach to SS Impala to keep an all factory look to the
interior. The power brake system has been upgraded with front
discs. A rear sway bar has also been added to improve handling and
drivability. A factory look aftermarket AM/FM has also been
installed. Another rarity for this Impala is factory equipped A/C.
This is a very well maintained/restored classic that gives you a
reason to go cruising on Friday night. Let the stresses of the work
week dissolve away; hearing the exhaust purr, we assure you, it
won't take long. For 1964, the Impala was slightly restyled,
reverting to a more rounded, softer look. The signature taillight
assembly had an "upside-down U" shaped aluminum trim strip above
the taillights, but the individual lights were surrounded by a
body-colored panel. Options on this 1964 Chevy Impala SS for sale
include: Air Conditioning, Tilt Steering Wheel, Power Disc Brakes,
Power Steering, AM/FM Radio, Seat Belts, Vinyl interior, and
American Racing Aluminum wheels wrapped in radial tires. To view
