"The Crestline was introduced as the top trim level of the 1952
Ford range, above the intermediate-level Customline and base level
Mainline.It was offered in Victoria, Sunliner and Ranch Wagon
versions with 2-door hardtop, 2-door convertible and 4-door station
wagon body styles respectively. Crestlines were offered only with a
239 CID "L-head" V8 engine.� For 1953, the Crestline was updated
with minor styling and trim changes.� It retained its position as
the top trim level in the Ford range while body styles and engine
availability also remained unchanged."

For sale by the long time owner is this beautiful Sunliner
convertible that was body on restored and completed in the early
2000's. The odometer shows 69,272 miles and is believed to be
correct, but the car is being sold as mileage exempt because of the
age. The engine is the original rebuilt 239, mated to a 3-speed
manual transmission. The body was repainted Sungate Ivory and all
the exterior chrome has either been replaced or replated. The
interior has been redone with a matching convertible boot and new
carpeting. The underside appears original and in great shape. All
in all a very nice local car show winner that is ready for a new
owner.
