Vehicle Description
1992 Lancia Delta Integrale Evoluzione
VIN: ZLA831AB000576428
Delivered new in Italy in 1992, this Evoluzione has had only one
owner since new. An avid collector he recognized the value of this
important car, as it was final homologation car for Lancia Rally
Team that won five WRC titles with the Integrale.
This 1992 car is an Evoluzione model, which means it has a wider
track front and rear (by 2.3 inches) than earlier Deltas, and the
wheel arches where extended to increase the cars width to a
menacing 69.6 inches. Its four-wheel drive system features an
epicyclic center diff with torque splitter, plus a Ferguson viscous
coupling and Torsen rear differential. The engine was tuned to
produce 210 horsepower at 5750rpm stock.
On the outside improvements included: new grilles in the front
bumper to improve the air intake for engine compartment cooling; a
redesigned hood with new lateral air slats to further assist under
hood ventilation; an adjustable roof spoiler above the tailgate;
new five-bolt wheels with the same design of the rally cars; and a
new single exhaust pipe.
On this example the factory Recaro seats have been optioned with
leather. Other rare options include air-conditioning and the
leather-covered Momo steering wheel.
Certainly the Delta Integrale Evoluzione is one of the best road
cars ever made, and until recently it has not been allowed in the
US. Well the wait is over, and here is one of the most flawless and
low mileage examples in existence. Serviced and road ready this Fly
Yellow Evo is ready to fulfill your Gran Turismo dreams.
