Vehicle Description
Welcome to Street Dreams in beautiful Fredericksburg, Texas as we
celebrate our 18th year in the classic and muscle car business.
We've had dozens, perhaps over a hundred, Tri-Five (1955-1957)
Chevrolets pass through our doors during the past 18 years. This
stunning Royal Blue 1957 Bel Air, without question, ranks somewhere
in the top 5. This was a rust-free car BEFORE the nut-and-bolt
rotisserie restoration, which helps explain the gorgeous bodywork
and paint. The heart of this beauty is a balanced Chevy 327 (.030
over) featuring forged 10:1 pistons, double-hump heads rebuilt with
stainless steel valves (2.02/1.60) and a 3 angle valve job, new
valve springs with screw-in studs and guide plates, ARP head and
rod bolts, rebuilt distributor, Desert Storm radiator, Hedman
Hedders, and a completely restored 1964 Corvette Rochester
mechanical fuel injection system (7017380). Behind this exceptional
engine sits a rebuilt 1964 Muncie close ratio 4-speed manual
transmission sporting a new Hurst shifter and linkage, new Hays
steel 11 flywheel with new pressure plate, clutch, and throwout
bearing, and a Lakewood explosion-proof bellhousing. The rebuilt
positraction rear end contains 3.70 gears with new clutch packs and
bearings. Other mechanical goodies include an under dash wiper
system, new wiring harness, new brake lines, new front suspension
with new shocks and coil springs, new rear leaf springs, metallic
brake shoes, Pypes 2.5 exhaust system, and a new gas tank with new
fuel lines. The immaculate interior sweetens the deal with new
upholstery, a new stereo, and fully restored gauges. Finally, new
chrome graces the show-quality exterior of this magnificent beast.
This is a top-shelf, no excuses car that's sure to please. Street
Dreams is a full service dealership that can assist with worldwide
delivery, low cost insurance, and great financing options.
