Vehicle Description
1989 E30 BMW 325iS HPDE Car.
Car has been meticulously maintained and prepped for tracking. The
sway bars have been dialed in, the shocks have been adjusted so the
weight of the car is centered, and all the camber/caster
adjustments have been set for tracking. This car is ready to be
tracked or driven on the streets! The car came from California, but
was only tracked since it wouldn't pass emissions in California.
The BMW was brought to Michigan where the purpose of the car was to
drive back and forth to the track. The car had windshield wipers
and fluid reservoir installed, blinkers/headlights all work, and
even the horn. Once it was road worthy, it was registered in
Michigan to be legally driven on the streets, but could still
destroy most of the cars at the local track. This car is a complete
all original BMW E30 with only bolt on modifications and could be
brought back to original form with interior and a steel hood. The
only bad is that it had a rebuilt title at some point in it's life
out west (minor front end collision), but car is completely fixed
and better than new.
Within the last 7,000 miles the following has been replaced.
TRANSMISSION/CLUTCH:
New Clutch, Pressure plate, resurfaced flywheel
New clutch slave and master cylinder
All seals replaced on the transmission (input, output, selector rod
etc.)
New pilot bearing, throw out bearing, rear main seal
New drive shaft guibo and center support bearing
SUSPENSION/BRAKES:
New front control arms and bushings (lemforder)
New tie rods (inner and outer) (lemforder)
New Bilstein sport front shocks
New KYB AGX adjustable rear shocks
H&R race front springs
H&R e30 grupp M rear springs
All brake calipers fully rebuilt
New Porterfield R4S track/street pads (200 bucks a set)
New Brembo blank rotors
Fully flushed break lines and replaced with ATE- Superblue
IE SS rear shock tower brace
IE front adjustable chamber plates
Sparco front shock tower brace
MOTOR:
New timing belt and tensioner (very important on these cars with
the interference motor)
New Alternator belt
New vacuum hoses
New valve cover gasket and cam seals
New valve hardware and adjustment
New aluminum radiator
All new coolant hoses
New water pump, thermostat, and temp sensor/sending unit
Electric fan installed with automatic temp switch
Head gasket, head fully disassembled, cleaned, checked for
cracks/leaks and leveled
New distributor, distributor cap, ignition wires, spark plus
Upgraded M50 injectors
K & N drop in filter
Custom cat back exhaust
Diff and transmission fluid have both been replaced. It was
replaced with the oil change every 3,000miles
AKG engine & Trans mount set
AKG front control arm bushings

New carbon fiber hood
New Rear M3 wing w/3rd break light
VAC seat mounts
Quick Release NRG steering wheel
Sparco seat & 5 point belts
