I am selling this beautiful Mustang because I have too many cars and not enough time to use them. It looks great in silver and it looks even better in person.
If you know your Mustangs, you know a 1968 comes with a 289/302. This is a 351 and it really is a tasteful upgrade with the Edelbrock intake, 4-barrel Holley, and performance headers. It has full mufflers so it isn't obnoxiously loud, but you definitely hear the V8 when you open the throttle. If you look at a 2-barrel 289/302 it is listed at 200hb/290ft-lb. The 351 4-barrel in this car should be good for 300hp and 400ft-lb. So that is your decision if you pass up this car and buy one with 100 less hp.
Since I purchased the car a few years ago, I have completely replaced the front suspension. Scott Drake upper and lower control arms, new shocks, etc. New power steering control valve and slave, new hoses, and tie rods. I have added the Pertronix distributor. This is a really nice upgrade, no more worrying about setting the points, dwell, etc. It is a modern electronic ignition system. New MSD Streetfire ignition cables.
