1966 Ford Mustang 2-Door Hardtop Coupe, 289 Windsor V8 2bbl,
classic Signal Flare Red (color code 5), with Black interior and
3-speed manual transmission! "Bone-stock" original vehicle.
Professionally re-inspected September 2017 to be absent of
rust.
The 289 "Windsor" V-8 engine, coupled with a 3-speed manual
transmission and deep-throaty "Flowmaster" custom exhaust system
provides a seemingly limitless top-end! At 65-75mph, its not even
breathing hard. Truly a classic 1966 Mustang "muscle-car", both
pretty and powerful too! The Grand Daddy of todays newer "retro"
Mustangs!
Chrome is original and in excellent condition throughout. Cragar
"Custom Classic" chrome wheels are a correct period enhancement for
it's year, age and era. Includes 1966 Mustang Owner's Manual, and
has original blue and yellow California license plates. Has new
Windshield, four new tires, new Security Theft Alarm System with
remote and brand new 'removable' JVC KD-5050 CD
player/receiver.
I started the restoration in 2002, including new paint, new
upholstery and carpet, all completed by a long-time Mustang
Restoration shop. A significant and important safety feature was
added in 1999 by installing a steel bulk-head to replace the
original cardboard panel separating the trunk area from
backseat/interior cockpit. Garaged continuously from the date I
purchased it 1999. Show car potential!
The ONLY reason I'm selling my Mustang is due to upcoming
retirement, needed garage space, as well as re-allocation of
available time and resources. Values on well maintained classic
original early Mustangs are steady, and continue to rise.
Average NADA Retail Value Range is $20,800 to $33,700. $25,500
asking price is under than $27,500 mid-NADA value.
