This stunning and extremely rare Aston Martin DB7 GT, was a “special (Bespoke) order” car by Thomas Harrington (law professor at NYU), with special upgraded 19” 9-spoke wheels and exterior 3-stage black pearl metallic “Daytona-Ferrari” paint color.

In and out, the car is in fantastic shape and everything is in perfect working order. The car was always serviced, and there is a nice amount of maintenance records that come with the car.

In 2002, a new variant of the DB7 model was launched, named V12 GT or V12 GTA

(when equipped with an automatic transmission.) They were only produced during 2002-2003, with a very limited total production run.

It was essentially an improved version of the Vantage model, its 5.9L V12 engine now producing 435 bhp and 410 lb·ft of torque for the manual GT

Additionally, the GT and GTA chassis had substantially updated suspension from the DB7 Vantage models. Aesthetically, compared to the Vantage, it has a reworked front chin spoiler, mesh front grille, vents in the bonnet like a Vanquish, a re-sculptured boot spoiler, an aluminum gear lever, optional carbon fiber interior trim (opposed to wood) and new 18” 5-spoke alloy wheels. It also came equipped with 355 mm (14.0 in) front and 330 mm (13.0 in) rear vented disc brakes made by Brembo with a Vanquish booster. Other improvements included a twin plate clutch, short-throw shifter, uprated sport suspension, and special under trays to improve aerodynamics. The rear axle ratio was tightened up from the Vantage’s 3.77 to a 4.09 ratio.

When being tested by Jeremy Clarkson on the TV Series Top Gear, he demonstrated the car's ability to pull away in “fourth gear” and continue until it hit the rev limiter at a speedometer indicated 135 mph (217 km/h). Top speed has been verified to be 186 mph in 6th gear.

Production of the GT and GTA was extremely limited, as only 190 GT's and 112 GTA's were produced worldwide. Only 57 units of the GT reportedly made it to the shores of North America.
