Taking nearly three years to complete, this AMX has undergone a
full-custom ground-up restoration using either original factory
parts or upgraded aftermarket parts. The original 390ci engine has
been completely rebuilt using upgraded pistons, cam, heads, intake
manifold, valves, valve covers, headers, high-performance radiator
with electric fans and serpentine pulley system. A brand-new
computerized FAST fuel-injection system was included to increase
power and reliability that all combined produces over 460hp. This
car came equipped from the factory with the Go-Pak option. Upgrades
include new Vintage Air, MagnaFlow headers, custom exhaust, new
Cragar SS 612 chrome mags and rubber, Wilwood power disc brakes and
rotors, and upgraded shocks and suspension. The posi-traction rear
end, transmission and clutch were rebuilt. A brand-new Hurst
shifter package was added. In addition, the car has a brand-new
leather interior, headliner, door panels and Procar Elite custom
bucket seats all covered in custom vintage leather. The list
continues with a custom Panasonic Bluetooth stereo, amp and
speakers mounted in the rear deck, dual batteries mounted in the
trunk, fiberglass hood with custom hood scoops, full alarm and
power locks, tinted windows, new windshield with OEM wipers, fuel
pump, custom steering wheel and power steering. The cherry on top
is the custom paint in factory white with painted black racing
stripes that took over eight weeks to complete. This car is one of
2,112 originally built with the 390ci engine/4-speed manual
transmission combination and Go-Pak option. Included with the
purchase is the original owner file, history records, AMX info,
photos, copies of recent restoration invoices and documentation.
