Edition model to celebrate the past with something exceptional from
the present. In 2004 a small batch of 1,953 Boxster S models were
designated to have the Anniversary Special badge represent the 550
Spyder. This car carries so many nice features over the standard
features as well as the extras that came with this special
setup.
Sold new out of Porsche of Nashua in July of 2004 in New Hampshire
where the car has remained in its entire life with only three
previous owners. With the very rare and unique Anniversary package
it came with exclusive options such as; GT Silver Metallic paint
with the very rare Cocoa Leather interior and soft top, painted
center console and dash, painted roll bar with Porsche windstop,
painted rear bumperettes, twin stacked chrome exhaust tips, xenon
headlights with washers, 18in painted wheels with Porsche colored
crest, shortened shifter with special aluminum trim, leather
wrapped steering wheel and E-Brake, sport seats with 4 way
adjustments, PSM, on-board computer, heated seats, chrome door
sills, special badge noting #1167 out of 1953 produced and some
other fine features. Over and above the standard issue options this
one also carries the BOSE stereo with in dash CD and remote 6CD
changer in front bonnet, cruise control, and floor mats.
This very clean and well cared for Boxster is stunning in person
and even more enjoyable to drive with the top up or down. The
mid-engine setup is remarkable for handling with balanced responses
and the exhaust note that it produces is very intoxicating. This is
a future collector car and one that demands attention and strong
consideration. Specialty Porsches have some of the fastest rising
values in the collector market and Anniversary cars are few and far
