Vehicle Description
1992 Polo Green Chevrolet Corvette. Which was special ordered by
the original owner. Only 915 where made with the auxiliary hardtop
and only 845 with the luggage rack. This two-owner car has been
meticulously maintained and stored inside. With only 35,229
original miles, this green beauty is a blast to drive. The LT1
under the hood backed by a 4-speed automatic will keep you pinned
against the seat. For the 1992 model year, the 300 bhp LT1 engine
was introduced, an increase of 50 bhp over 1991's L98 engine. This
engine featured reverse-flow cooling (the heads were cooled before
the block), which allowed for a higher compression ratio of 10.5:1.
A new distributor was also debuted. Called "Optispark", the
distributor was driven directly off the front of the camshaft and
mounted in front of the timing cover, just above the crankshaft and
harmonic balancer. Also new for 1992 was Acceleration Slip
Regulation (ASR), a form of traction control which utilized the
Corvette's brakes, spark retard, and throttle close-down to prevent
excessive rear wheel spin and possible loss of control. The
traction control device could be switched off if desired. She also
has: A/C, CD player, beige convertible top, removable hard top,
lumbar support, power seats, ride control, anti-theft, and the
original leather interior. That same year this Polo Green Corvette
was rolling of the assembly line, Bill Clinton became our 42 U.S.
President. And the Washington Redskins won the 26th Super Bowl. To
