Vehicle Description
For sale in our Denver showroom is a 1970 Lemon Twist Yellow
Plymouth Duster. With only two owners. The original Plymouth Duster
is a semi-fastback two-door coupe version of the compact-sized
Plymouth Valiant automobile that was marketed by Plymouth in the
U.S. from 1970 to 1976 model years. The Plymouth Duster introduced
in late-1969 for the 1970 model year was all Valiant from the cowl
forward, but the rest of the car's sheet metal, save door skins,
was completely different. The design incorporated a semi-fastback
roof and a special rear valance with twin horizontal taillights,
unusual for having no bezels. During that same year Black Sabbath's
eponymous debut album is released; often regarded as the first true
heavy metal album. As well as Diana Ross and The Supremes perform
their farewell live concert together at the Frontier Hotel in Las
Vegas. Ross's replacement, Jean Terrell, is introduced onstage at
the end of the last show. The Who become the first act to perform
rock music (their rock opera, Tommy) at the Metropolitan Opera
House, New York. This was a great time for music and American
muscle cars. This beautiful Lemon Twist Yellow Duster has only 641
miles on it since it was rebuilt. The list includes: 5.7L Hemi fuel
injected V8 out of an '05 Dodge 1500 pickup, 518 4 speed OD
transmission, 9 Dana rear end with 3.54 Posi traction, carbon
fiber instrument cluster with matching yellow paint, factory EFI
and air, front disc brakes, 11" rear drums, new interior, new
suspension, new vinyl top, and A/C. This a sweet ride for anyone
who likes the classic look of an old muscle car, with the added
benefits of modern technology. There is a lot of power in this
Yellow monster. Which is sure to turn heads, anywhere she goes.
Just imagine burning rubber in this bad boy while listening to your
favorite tunes from the 70s.
