Half way through the year 1964, Ford released the first ever
Mustang that quickly became an American icon that has carried on
throughout the last half century. Their innovative idea was to make
a model that was fun and affordable for almost anyone to cruise
along in style. This mid-year pony car has inherited modern
components from some of the newer models. A full rotisserie
restoration was done on this classic Ford where no area was left
untouched. Under the hood rests a 5.0L V8 that originated in a 1989
Mustang and was woken up with a mild competition cam, aluminum
intake, and 2 1/2" dual exhaust. Fire it up and drop the C4
automatic transmission into gear. As you lean on the throttle, the
tuned-up 5.0 will force you back into your seat but the Z-rated
performance tires will assure you stay in control at all times. The
modern wheels pay homage to the classic styling from when this car
was new and tucked behind those, are a set of disc brakes that were
taken from a 2007 Mustang for optimal braking. This Mustang is the
best of all worlds with classic styling and modern performance.
