Offered for sale is a 1979 10th Anniversary Trans Am with 892 actual miles. This Trans Am has lived in a collection in Gadsden, AL since 1992. It was only driven 200 miles since it was purchased from Dan Jackson Motors on 1410 Lowery Road NE, Arab, AL on March 9th, 1992. Prior to that the car resided in a collection in Texas and it was only driven sparingly and sat in a showroom since 1992. The Y89 Silver Special Edition was fitted with every available option and the interior featured distinctive leather upholstery with matching deep pile carpeting and the seats were embroidered with Tri-Color Firebird emblems. Just 1817 examples were fitted with 400CI Pontiac engines rated at 220HP while the remaining 5683 cars received the 185HP with a 403CI Oldsmobile engine and a 3.5p automatic transmission. These cars had WS6 performance suspension. This car is just as it should be for having the few miles on it. The Trans Am shows very well and is virtually untouched; this very well could be one of the lowest miles 10th Anniversary left.
