I have spent the last 5 years restoring this car with love in hopes of taking it to car shows and showing it off. Unfortunately it was not to be. I have had three back surgeries in the last 8 months and at nearly 70 years old now, I cannot enjoy it. I only hope someone will buy it that will love it like I do and keep it and show it off as it deserves. Having said that, I will try to list all that has been done to this car. I spent almost $3,000 having the engine Professionally built, not counting the bolt on parts that I bought extra. It has powder coated Hooker headers, it has a Borg Warner T10 4 speed tranny, with the Hurst Super Shifter, a super duty drive shaft, I put in a Yukon 4:10 posi, it has an Edelbrock 850 CFM carburetor, (new) an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, Edelbrock valve covers,roller rockers. The engine has been dyno'd, I have the print out from it. I installed a new gas tank, new 4 row radiator, new radiator mount, new heater core, all new brake lines and fuel lines, all new brake parts, it has front disc brakes, a new master cylinder, a new steering gear box, new idler arm, new tie rods,new pittman arm, new front coil springs, I had the frame rolled to line everything up. It has new front fenders, a new rear bumper, a fiberglass hood, with the iconic "double bubble", it has a new windshield, new door glass, both doors, it has power windows and both window motors are new. I sent the dashboard to California to "just Dashes" to have it completely restored, it cost $1,700 but is is like new! It has all new carpet, new consoles, all new foam in the seats and new seat covers professionally installed, a new head liner, new door panels, all new running lights and marker lights, all new wiring front to rear, a new steering wheel, a new blinker switch, new horns, a new 300W in dash radio and Kenwood rear speakers, I also have the original in dash radio that still works. It has new Cragar S/S mags w/locks, new cooper GT tires P335/60 R15. The car has less thean 100 miles on the rebuild. The paint job is less than a year old. It has new wipers, a new wiper/washer motor, it runs super strong. It has over 450 ft. lbs of torque, sounds great,looks great, runs great! I probably am forgetting something but you get the jist of it, it, it is like a new car.
