Vehicle Description
An affordable 1967 Ford Mustang coupe is already quite tempting.
But when it has an upgraded V8, custom midnight attitude, and an
ice-cold A/C controlled interior, then you realize you've found the
perfect classic that's available right now.
The paint is what first grabs your attention. There have been
plenty of investment in restoring this coupe, and so the slick
black paint was given a fantastic canvas to showcase its dark
glossy attitude. Rivaling this for shine is all the brightwork,
including the mirror-like chrome bumpers and all that stainless
trim. And we really love all the custom pieces that are there for
attitude, such as the 15-inch alloy wheels and the blacked-out
grille that makes this pony look like it's out to inhale the
traffic ahead of it. Plus, that silver triple rocker stripe is the
perfect complement to the custom taillights and turn signals in the
integrated Deluxe hood.
A pristine black interior is always welcomed on a car like this to
complete the full midnight attitude inside & out. Everything from
the bucket seats, to the door panels, and to the carpeting, carries
the kind of luster that signals this has had proper care. In fact,
the custom pony logos on the seats tell you there was a lot of
thought and attention to the little details. And that's far from
the only upgrade. You'll slip behind the custom sports steering
wheel with the Ford logo etched in the center and will enjoy the
modern comfort of power steering. While the '67 updated gauge
package provides better info, we're even happier to see an upgrade
to a Phantom oil, water, and power trio for a complete picture.
Because you'll want to stay cool while looking cool in this
all-black Mustang, there's modern R134a air conditioning that's
blowing ice-cold.
When you open the hood, you're greeted to a sea of black and
brightwork just like the rest of the car. With the Ford Motorsport
valve covers, air topper, Monte Carlo bar, compressor, and so much
more polished to a perfect shine, you'll be proud to show off every
inch of this Mustang. In fact, the blue block is the only addition
of color peeking out from all this black and shine... and for a
good reason. This pony has received more gallop thanks to an
upgrade to a 302 cubic-inch V8 that now includes go-fast goodies
such as an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock Performer
intake, Davis Unified Ignition (DUI) performance ignition, and long
tube headers. That last one not only adds power, but it also
contributes to the thunderous sound out of the side-exiting
exhaust. But this is more than just a pure power machine. It's also
a very thoughtful build. For example, the three-speed automatic
transmission was rebuilt in 2016 for added reliability. Plus, you
have an aluminum radiator w/electric fan, so this powerful pony can
run cool even if you're in traffic with the A/C pumping.
Complete with build receipts and owner's manual, we love it when a
classic like this is built to be both powerful and practical. When
you can find it on a Mustang coupe that looks this mean, but is
priced so nice, then you know you need to hurry to grab this deal.
