Here we have what we believe to be a true 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle
SS featuring a 396 big block and 4-speed transmission. This is
truly an outstanding car that runs as good as it looks!
This car has had a TON of work and money put into it. You can tell
that the high quality Bolero Red paint job was applied
professionally. The base coat / clear coat has a deep shine to it
without all the typical swirl marks. There are some imperfections
in the exterior of this car, but nothing to get excited about. This
is a true Arizona car (still titled in Arizona), and appears to be
all original sheet metal with no rust to be seen. All the glass is
properly intact, and show very minimal wear for its age. All the
chrome and stainless are in excellent shape.
The black vinyl bench interior is in excellent shape. The front and
rear seats all have newer vinyl upholstery installed, and show
virtually no wear at all! The dashboard, gauges, center console,
carpet and headliner all appear to be new with very minimal
wear.
All the glass is in excellent shape with no cracks or scratches.
The windshield is perfectly intact with no chips or scratches.
Most importantly - the Chevrolet big block 396 power plant under
the hood. This is what everybody looks for in a classic
Chevelle! Perfectly mated to a 4-speed manual transmission, and
this classic Bow Tie cruises down the road with an unmistakable
rumble. The clutch is relatively new with no slip or chatter, and
the Hurst shifter goes in and out of gear just the way it
should.
Some additional features in this Chevelle:
- Chrome Edelbrock RPM Performer Intake
- Chrome alternator
- Chrome fan shroud
- Chrome Chevrolet air cleaner
