The year was 1972. The USA was getting ready to cheer for swimmers
Mark Spitz and Shirley Babashoff to lead the U.S. team in the
Munich Summer Olympics. Perhaps the Ford Motor Company saw sales
gold and released an all-American red-white-and-blue Sprint package
for the venerable Mustang that Spring. This stunning example
includes both the "A" level appearance group and the "B" group
featuring performance suspension and custom wheels. The top engine
in 1972 was the 351-cid Cleveland V-8 with a four-barrel
carburetor. This low-mile, numbers matching Sprint also sports
4-Speed manual transmission mated to a 3.25 rear end and power
brakes. The gorgeous blue and white interior adds to the patriotic
theme and is in outstanding condition. Exterior trim features
include twin stripes on the hood and tail panel in "Grabber Blue".
Red pinstripes accent the two-tone paint scheme and a black grille
adds to the overall sporty look. This gorgeous and very original
Mustang Sprint is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view
the 1972 Sprint in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD
