Vehicle Description
Exceptionally low mileage on an extremely rare and highly
collectable 40th anniversary salute to the legendary Carroll
Shelby. Not only is it #605 of 1,000 made it is also the KR version
which means after manufacture by Ford as a limited edition model it
was sent to the Shelby Automobiles in Las Vegas where it was
modified to KR status.
In Vegas, the Ford 5.4-liter supercharged V-8 was enhanced to boost
horsepower to 540 HP. The added power came via revised ignition and
air/fuel calibration, a throaty dual exhaust and a cold-air intake
system that was specially designed to mate perfectly against the
KR's carbon fiber hood. The engine is matched to a six speed manual
transmission.
It also received Brembo disc brakes and machined aluminum wheels
with SVT/Shelby center caps.
This coupe is in the factory Silver Metallic with Vista Blue
stripes. The interior is in black with bucket seats.
The actual mileage on this rare and highly collectible Shelby is
only 2,750.
