Vehicle Description
Stk 2306 1967 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme 442
The Oldsmobile 4-4-2 was produced between 1964 and 1980. Introduced
as an option package for the F-85 and Cutlass, the original basis
of the 1964 "4-4-2" designation was an option package that included
a four-barrel carburetor, four-speed manual transmission and dual
exhaust. Beginning in 1965, the 4-4-2's standard transmission
became a 3-speed manual, but Olds maintained the 4-4-2 badge. This
1967 Cutlass Supreme 4-4-2 convertible (VIN code 33867...) was a
top-of-the-line model. The current owner (18 years) believes that
the indicated mileage of just under 59,300 is actual. Our Olds
received a partial frame-on restoration in 1991. Careful
preparation and a meticulous reshoot of Bolero Red (2-stage)
resulted in an outstanding exterior finish that is accented by a
handsome power operated black soft-top. The black vinyl 'Strato'
bucket seat interior was fully restored and is in very good
condition. It is equipped with a factory AM/FM stereo, A/C, full
gauge package, power steering, tilt wheel and tinted windows. The
matching numbers 400ci engine has never required a rebuild,
provides 350bhp and sounds superb. It is backed by a GM 4-speed
manual transmission (M20 or M21) with factory console-mounted Hurst
shifter. The 4-4-2 option included heavy-duty suspension, rear sway
bars and power drum brakes with dual master. Period-correct 15"
Keystone chrome mag wheels mount BFG Radial T/A radial tires in
excellent condition. (The original Oldsmobile SS1 Rallye wheels are
also available.) Our current owner has been the curator of this
handsome car for almost 2 decades and is ready to pass it on to the
next caretaker. Why shouldn't that be you? . ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS
IS".
